Last week I was thrilled to receive an early birthday present in the form of Will Young tickets at Rochester Castle. Although I have only been to the Castle Concerts once before I remembered it being a really friendly venue so went with camera in hand. I got great photos of up and coming singer Rox which will probably appear very shortly but the star of the show absolutely blew me away with his voice and talent. We were so close to the stage that I managed to snipe some photos without being thrown out by the security guards and am thrilled. If you can believe it, Will’s voice is even better in person than on his albums and he has learned to dance. I say that because the last image is of a dance set he did where the whole stage was in darkness and he and the dancers were only lit by the lights on their costumes. It was a fab night and I thoroughly enjoyed photographing it. My favourite photos follow:
